Jordanians exempted from Petra entry fees between May 25 and June 1

AMMAN — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) Suleiman Farajat on Thursday decided to exempt Jordanians from entry fees for the archaeological sites in Petra between May 25 and June 1.
The decision was made on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Kingdom's independence and HRH Crown Prince Hussein's wedding, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The rose-red city also embarked on its celebrations for the two occasions through holding the Rose City Nights festival.
