Jordanian peacekeepers distribute aid in Ivory Coast

AMMAN — Jordan’s peacekeeping contingent in the Ivory Coast on Saturday distributed humanitarian aid at the closing ceremony of a Koran memorisation competition.
Some 320 Muslim students from public schools participated in the competition.
Contingent Commander Col. Jalal Abul Kheil said the Jordan Armed Forces is committed to spreading the message of peace and love among the people of the Ivory Coast and bolstering security in the African country by offering humanitarian aid to those in need.
