Jordanian peacekeepers distribute aid in Ivory Coast

AMMAN — Jordan’s peacekeeping contingent “Ivory Coast 16” distributed humanitarian aid to residents of the Ajami region on Wednesday.
The assistance included schoolbags, stationery, clothes, toys and copies of the Koran.
Contingent Commander Col. Jalal Abu Al Khail said the Jordanian forces play a humanitarian role as part of the international peacekeeping force, and contribute to maintaining security and stability.
