Jordanian-German corporate partnership programme launched

AMMAN — The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) on Thursday launched a corporate partnership programme, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The partnership programme, launched during a virtual event, focuses on enhancing constitutional capacities and exchanging expertise to promote exports of start-up companies to prop up the performance of Jordanian exports through involving the private and public sectors.
The ministry's secretary general, Dana Zoubi, stressed the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Germany, noting that the programme is an opportunity to exchange expertise to boost and promote exports to German counterparts.
It also goes hand-in-hand with the government's 2021-2023 priorities for supporting and developing exports, which aim to improve access to markets and investment circumstances for small- and medium-sized enterprises, as well as boosting the Jordanian-German trade ties overall, she added.
Participants from the German side underscored their commitment to sharing the BMWK's experience with the Jordanian government and the private sector on issues of interest, Petra reported.
