Jordanian delegate presents national strategies at ICPD Nairobi Summit

AMMAN — Secretary-General of Jordan’s Higher Population Council (HPC) Abla Amawi gave a presentation on Thursday titled “Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into sub-national planning and budgeting frameworks” during a special session at the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) +25 “Accelerating the Promise” summit in Nairobi.

During the presentation, Amawi pointed out that policy data in Jordan are utilised to support implementing decentralisation and results-based accountability, as well as establish evidence-based data for policymaking, according to an HPC statement.
