Jordan, Turkey discuss judicial cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan and Turkey on Monday discussed cooperation in the judicial constitutional field. Constitutional Court President Taher Hikmat, during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Zühtü Arslan, reviewed the court’s role in ruling on the constitutionality of laws and interpreting the Constitution.
Arslan invited Hikmat to attend a celebration marking his court’s 55th anniversary in April. The Turkish official is on an official visit to the Kingdom to participate in the Yale Law School’s Middle East Legal Studies seminar, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
