Jordan joins Cairo conference on Palestinian refugees

AMMAN — Jordan is participating in the 96th conference of supervisors on Palestinian refugee affairs that commenced in Cairo on Sunday.
Mahmoud Aqrabawi, the director of the Department of Palestinian Affairs and the head of the Jordanian delegation, said the Palestinian issue tops the Kingdom’s priorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Discussions at the five-day event cover issues related to refugees’ conditions in Arab host countries, Israeli violations and UNRWA’s financial deficit and its repercussions on services provided to Palestinian refugees.
