Jordan, Ireland sign deal to cooperate in public administration

AMMAN — The Public Sector Development Ministry and the Irish Department of Public Expenditure and Reform recently signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate and exchange expertise in the public administration development field.

The ministry, in a statement sent to The Jordan Times on Sunday, said the memorandum is aimed at enhancing cooperation developing human resources, restructuring the public administration system, developing government services and organising joint workshops in fields of mutual interest.

Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh, who signed the memorandum on behalf of the government during a recent visit to Ireland, also met with Irish officials and discussed ways to increase mutual cooperation.
