AMMAN — Justice Minister Ahmed Zayadat on Thursday met his Iraqi counterpart Salar Abdul Sattar over advancing cooperation and expertise exchange in the legal and judicial fields.

Welcoming the Iraqi delegation, Zayadat emphasised the “deep-rooted” Iraqi-Jordanian ties, highlighting the memos signed between the two countries in several fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Talks also went over the ministry’s efforts towards improving service provision and digital transformation, in addition to the idea of electronic monitoring bracelets as an alternative means to imprisonment and the “remote trial” project.
