Jordan inks agreement with Italian Med-Or Foundation

AMMAN — On Wednesday, Jordan signed a letter of intent with the Italian Med-Or Foundation to cooperate on various academic, professional and technical fields in demand in the local labour market.
The letter of intent was signed by the president of Med-Or, Marco Minniti, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Italy Qais Abu Dayyeh, who represented Jordan on behalf of the Foreign Ministry, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
A ministry statement on Thursday said that the document details cooperation and training efforts in vital sectors, including advanced technology, cyber security, artificial intelligence, modern agricultural technology, medicine and health management, renewable energy, water resources management and tourism, primarily concerning the protection of cultural heritage. The Med-Or Foundation in 2022 financed 80 online Italian language courses through the ICoN (Italian Culture on the Net) consortium for students at Jordan University.
