CAIRO — Jordan on Monday denounced the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza and its use of excessive force against Palestinian civilians.
During his participation in the Arab League emergency meeting, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh condemned “the brutal, unjust and continued Israeli aggression”.
Judeh said Jordan is working, upon His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives and through his personal contacts, with leaders of influential countries to stop the aggression and to restore calm.
Judeh added that the grave Israeli offensive is shifting the world’s attention from daily acts of aggression targeting East Jerusalem and Islamic and Christian sites, especially Al Aqsa Mosque.
