AMMAN — Awqaf Minster Hayel Dawood on Monday denounced daily attempts by Zionist and Jewish extremists to desecrate Al Aqsa Mosque.
Dawood denounced an attempt by over 106 Jewish extremists and settlers on Sunday to break into the mosque complex, under the protection of Israeli authorities.
He also denounced the occupation authorities’ assault on worshippers and mosque guards.
Dawood warned that such attempts and acts of aggression against the holy shrine can spark a religious war and lead to more extremism.
