Jordan condemns terror attacks in southern Philippines

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday denounced two terrorist attacks that targeted civilians and security forces in the town of Jolo, in the southern province of Sulu, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez voiced the Kingdom's solidarity with the Philippines in confronting terrorism, according to a ministry statement.
Fayez also affirmed the Kingdom’s position rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that target everyone without discrimination. Fayez expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
