Jordan’s security a top interest for UAE — official

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday met with Amal Al Qubaisi, president of the UAE Federal National Council, and discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.

During the meeting, Fayez voiced appreciation for Abdu Dhabi’s support to Jordan, stressing the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation. 

He also voiced Jordan’s refusal of foreign meddling in the internal affairs of Gulf Arab states, stressing that the security of Jordan and the Gulf are one and the same. Qubaisi said Amman’s security is a top interest for her country and the entire Gulf region.
