AMMAN — The Jordan Media Commission (JMC) on Tuesday issued warnings to several online news outlets, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The warnings were issued to outlets for violating professional principles and publishing “incorrect news” based on rumours or social media, according to Petra.
JMC Director General Amjad Qadi said that the step was taken to draw news websites’ attention to abide by professional rules and not to publish rumours, especially those related to the state.
