JMC says 171 licenced news websites operating in Jordan until July 31

AMMAN — The Jordan Media Commission (JMC) on Wednesday announced that there will be 171 licenced news websites, 38 satellite channels and 39 radio stations until the end of July.
JMC added that there are 30 print outlets, ten partisan newspapers and 848 specialised publications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JMC statistic also showed that there are 194 study and research centres and 16 public opinion survey institutions, as well as 358 translation houses, 409 publication and distribution houses, 393 advertising agencies, 452 printing presses and 225 bookstores.
