JHCO initiative supports 20,000 families this winter

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) has implemented over the past two months a set of winter aid initiatives to alleviate the burdens of Jordanian family needs, as well as Syrian and Palestinian refugee families. A statement by the JHCO on Wednesday said that the initiatives included the distribution of food parcels, blankets, clothes, fuel coupons, heaters, mattresses and caravans, among other things. Highlighting the JHCO’s efforts since the beginning of winter, the statement noted that beneficiaries surpassed 20,000 underprivileged families across the Kingdom, in addition to dispatching two aid convoys to the West Bank.
