JFDA stresses endeavours to enhance partnership with WHO

AMMAN — Director General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mheidat on Monday stressed the administration's endeavours to enhance partnership with various international organisations, mainly the World Health Organisation (WHO), to further improve JFDA's monitoring role.
Mheidat made the remarks during a meeting with WHO representative in Jordan Jamilah Al Raibi, who voiced the organisation's aspiration for more coordination and partnerships with JFDA to enhance the administration's capabilities, mainly during the pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Raibi also commended JFDA's role in enhancing public health through its monitoring and organisational role on pharmaceutical and medical products.
