JCD director, Mexican ambassador discuss enhancing commercial exchange

AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department (JCD) Director General Maj. Gen. Abdul Majeed Rahamneh on Sunday discussed strengthening relations and facilitating commercial exchange between Jordan and Mexico with Mexican Ambassador to Jordan Roberto Rodriguez.
The JCD is looking to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Mexican Customs Department with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, the ambassador commended the JCD’s achievements in monitoring the borders and facilitating procedures, praising the “entrepreneurial role” the JCD plays in applying the highest international standards, according to Petra.
