Jordan Press Foundation inks deal to train JCD personnel

AMMAN — The Jordan Press Foundation (JPF)/Al Rai and the Jordan Customs Department (JCD) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide media training and exchange information.
The memorandum seeks to facilitate the exchange of information and expertise and enhance cooperation through media training provided to the employees of both signatories.
The MoU aims to indirectly support the national economy and create a suitable investment environment for the creation of jobs.
The agreement is expected help improve media pertaining to investments while supporting trade and national industries.
As part of the MoU, Al Rai will utilise its network to highlight the JCD’s role and its various achievements.
The MoU was signed by JPF Director General Farid Silwani and JCD Director General Abdelmajid Rahamneh, in the presence of JPF Chairman Ayman Majali.
During the signing, Majali pointed to efforts exerted to mitigate Al Rai’s financial burdens.
The JPF/Al Rai recently signed an agreement with the Saeed Abbasi and Partners Company for Printing and Technical Services (Al Noor Printing Press) to establish a company to invest, operate and administrate the commercial printing press at the JPF’s headquarters.
