JCD denies rumours of tax increase on goods carried by travellers

AMMAN — The Jordan Customs Department (JCD) on Sunday denied rumours that customs tariffs on goods carried by travellers will see an increase of 5 per cent.
JCD Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah said the fees related to the goods in passengers’ possession will remain the same with no increase, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
