Customs department foils attemptto smuggle 8,387 e-cigarettes

AMMAN — Customs personnel at the Zarqa Free Zone have foiled an attempt to smuggle 8,387 e-cigarettes. Jordan Customs Department (JCD) Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah said that the import of e-cigarettes is prohibited, noting that they are confiscated for failing to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
