JBA calls for policies that boost consumer spending, investments

AMMAN — The business community on Wednesday had a firsthand look at the government’s priorities for the years 2021-2023, which are scheduled to be referred to His Majesty King Abdullah.
Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) President Hamdi Tabbaa said that the citizens have hopes to improve their living conditions and limit the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tabbaa called for implementing expanded financial and monetary policies that provide enough liquidity to boost consumer spending and investments. The JBA president also highlighted the importance of developing majors to meet the needs of the labour market.
