AMMAN — The Japanese government on Sunday welcomed the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania to Japan.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the occasion, in which it expressed hope that the visit would boost “friendship relations” between Tokyo and Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
