Issawi, Halaseh check on Madaba industrial city work progress

AMMAN — Royal Court Secretary General Yousef Issawi, head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, and Minister of Public Works and Housing Sami Halaseh on Wednesday checked on the work progress of the Madaba industrial city.
The visit aimed to observe the latest developments of the infrastructure project and to be informed on any obstacles in the implementation process, Issawi said, the Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
The industrial area allocated for the industrial city expands over 497 dunums, according to Halaseh, who added that the first phase of the project covers an area of 310 dunums distributed over 41 investment plots.
