AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Monday said that it has noticed that a number of candidates are using the commission's logo in their election campaigns, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The practice, in which some candidates added their photos to posters with the IEC's logo and other graphic designs, has led to confusion among voters, the commission said.
IEC's Spokesperson Jihad Momani said that candidates are not allowed to use the IEC’s logo on campaign materials. The commission will contact candidates in case of any such violation and will remove all campaign materials with its logo from social media, Momani added.
