ICT minister calls for committing to REACH 2025 goals

AMMAN — ICT Minister Majd Shweikeh on Wednesday reaffirmed the importance of REACH 2025 for the development of the ICT sector, according to a statement released by the ministry.
In remarks at a meeting held by the Partnership Council for Communications and Information Sector, the minister called on all stakeholders to take action and commit to the Royal initiative, launched at the MENA ICT Forum last November, stressing the need for partnerships between the public and private sectors to ensure that the ICT industry in Jordan continues to grow. REACH 2025 aims at accelerating the digitisation of the economy and transforming Jordan into an ICT hub by 2025.
