Hussein Majali appointed senator

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Thursday to appoint Hussein Majali as a senator as of January 19, 2017, a Royal Court statement said. Another decree was issued to approve the resignation of Ayman Safadi from the Senate as of January 15, 2017. Majali previously served as interior minister under prime minister Abdullah Ensour. Safadi has been appointed foreign minister in the latest reshuffle to Prime Minister Hani Mulki's Cabinet.
