Huneiti, Belgian Chief of Defence talk military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday met with Belgian Chief of Defence Admiral Michel Hofman and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hofman was given an official military reception, during which he inspected the guard of honour. In the presence of the Belgian Defence Attaché in Amman and a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Huneiti and Hofman discussed the latest regional and international developments, aspects of cooperation and coordination in the field of joint military training, and ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the best interests of both countries’ armed forces.
Huneiti and the guest delegation listened to a number of military briefings on the development and modernisation of weapons, tasks and equipment in the JAF, in line with the nature of developments in the region at various levels.
