Army chief meets with military retirees

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday met with a number of military retirees over the Kingdom’s challenges at both domestic and international fronts.
Huneiti, during the meeting at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), briefed the gathering on the armed forces’ readiness, notably the progress of operational, training and logistical aspects.
Speaking during the meeting, military retirees lauded the armed forces efforts, reiterating their support for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
They also expressed appreciation for holding these continuous meetings that show armed forces’ keenness on outreaching to veterans and military retirees.
