House speaker meets UAE counterpart

AMMAN – Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh and the president of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Amal Al Qubaisi, on Friday said that the current regional developments require more parliamentary cooperation and consultations between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tarawneh, who is on an official visit to the UAE, and Qubaisi also discussed enhancing bilateral relations and the exchange of expertise between the two legislatures. The speaker said Jordan appreciates the support extended by the UAE in various fields, according to Petra.
