House speaker meets Qatari, Belgian and Hungarian ambassadors

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi on Sunday met with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Dughmi stressed the strength of the countries’ relations, whose foundations were laid by His Majesty King Abdullah and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
Dughmi highlighted Jordan’s keenness to bolster bilateral relations, most notably terms of investment. He praised Qatari support for Jordan, especially in providing job opportunities for Jordanian youth through the Qatari initiative to employ 10,000 young people.
The Qatari ambassador stressed the strength of ties between the two countries, noting that an agreement to train Jordanians wishing to work in Qatar will be signed soon.
Dughmi also met with Belgian Ambassador Filip Vanden Bulcke and Hungarian Ambassador Attila Káli, where they discussed relations and ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields, especially parliamentary ones.
