Fayez meets Belgian ambassador, discusses ties, region

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Belgian Ambassador to Jordan Filip Vanden Bulcke on Tuesday discussed Jordanian-Belgian relations and ways to develop them in terms of politics, economics, and increasing trade volume exchange.
The meeting also went over various regional developments. Fayez reviewed the Kingdom’s firm positions towards various issues and His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts to end conflicts in the region and enable its peoples to live in peace and security, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Vanden Bulcke praised Jordan’s leading role in restoring peace and stability in the region, noting that his country hopes to further develop its ties with Jordan and increase investment in the Kingdom.
