Halaseh visits Ramtha after stray shells fall from Syria

AMMAN — Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh, under directives from Prime Minsiter Hani Mulki, on Thursday went on a field visit to Ramtha after two stray mortar shells fell in the border town from Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Halaseh, accompanied by Irbid Governor Radwan Otoum, visited the house of Abu Aqula, which was damaged by the shells.
The minister said a contractor in the area has been chosen to conduct the necessary maintenance work in cooperation with the Jordan National Building Council, Petra reported.
