GCC ambassadors express keenness to advance ties with Jordan

AMMAN — Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Thursday expressed keenness to advance relations between Jordan and Gulf countries in several fields.
During a GCC ambassadors meeting held in Amman, the diplomats commended the closing statement of the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the GCC, which was held in Riyadh last week.
The closing statement of the GCC summit stressed the importance of enhancing Jordan’s development, security and stability, describing the Kingdom as a “strategic partner”.
The closing statement also called for stepping up efforts towards implementing the agreed-upon action plans made between the Kingdom and the GCC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
