‘Gaza 32’ holds free medical day

GAZA — Jordan’s military field hospital on Tuesday held a free medical day in the Beit Lahia region of northern Gaza.
During the event, held in the Wiaam Kindergarten, hospital personnel presented medical services to 1,500 patients.
Gaza 32 Commander Col. Khaled Zyoud said paediatric, internal medicine, general surgery and dermatology clinics were available, in addition to a pharmacy.

Jordan’s field hospital, dubbed “Gaza32”, on Saturday distributed large amounts of infant formula to charitable societies, which in turn will distribute them to families in the Gaza Strip.
Medics at Jordan’s field hospital in Gaza, dubbed “Gaza 32”, have treated around 18,000 patients so far, raising the total number of beneficiaries of the facility since its deployment in 2009 to 1.3 million.
A new medical team arrived in Gaza on Tuesday to join Jordan’s field hospital.
