‘Gaza 32’ treats 18,000 patients

GAZA — Medics at Jordan’s field hospital in Gaza, dubbed “Gaza 32”, have treated around 18,000 patients so far, raising the total number of beneficiaries of the facility since its deployment in 2009 to 1.3 million.
According to hospital director, Khalid Zyoud, 33 major and 545 minor surgeries were performed by Gaza 32 staff, who arrived in the strip nearly a month ago.
