Fourth conference on healthcare quality inaugurated

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Tuesday inaugurated the fourth conference and exhibition on healthcare quality. HH Prince Mired and HH Princess Dina attended the inauguration ceremony of the three-day event, which is organised by the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
HCAC Vice President Fawzi Hammouri said that the council has trained more than 4,000 people from different health sectors on healthcare quality and patient safety, in addition to granting accreditation certificates to more than 26 hospitals and 88 healthcare centres.
More than 500 representatives of various health sectors from Jordan, Arab and foreign countries are taking part in the event.
