FM, secretary general mourn passing of Jordanian ambassador to Algeria

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Foreign Ministry Secretary General Saja Majali on Wednesday expressed their condolences over the passing of Jordanian Ambassador to Algeria Ahmad Jaradat, who passed away on Tuesday of a sudden illness.
In a statement, the ministry expressed its condolences to Jaradat’s family and colleagues, commending his noble qualities, work ethic and service to his country.
Jaradat began his career with the Foreign Ministry in 1982 as a diplomatic attaché and later worked as a diplomat on a number of missions to Beijing, Muskat, Tripoli, Sanaa and Cairo, in addition to serving as an ambassador to Yemen and Algeria.
