AMMAN —Five Jordanian filmmakers are currently participating in the Sheffield Documentary Film Festival (Doc/Fest) in the UK to pitch their film projects, according to a statement sent to The Jordan Times.
The five were among 12 local filmmakers who attended the “How to Pitch for Sheffield Documentary Film Festival?” workshop during the Sheffield Film Days in Amman in March, and were selected to participate in the UK festival.
The workshop gave each project the chance to hone its pitch and receive detailed feedback on the presentation and any visual materials, the statement said.
It was organised by the Royal Film Commission in collaboration with the British Council, and led by Sylvia Wroblewska, business and marketing director at Sheffield Doc/Fest.
This year’s festival started last Friday and concludes on Wednesday.
