Fire at Bayader car painting shop extinguished

AMMAN — West Amman Civil Defence Department (CDD) firefighters extinguished a blaze that erupted in a car painting shop in the capital's industrial area in Bayader on Friday night.
The fire extended over 80 square metres of the shop's total area of 300 square metres.
CDD personnel were able to control the fire and prevent it from reaching 10 vehicles that were inside the venue, according to a CDD statement.
The fire damaged some items in the shop, including fuel derivatives, paint and a welding machine.
The CDD said an investigation has been launched to identify the cause of the fire.
