Factories to offer 600 jobs in badia

AMMAN — The Labour Ministry on Sunday signed two memoranda of understanding to establish two factory branches in Salhiyeh and Nayfeh Municipality in Northern Badia, and Azraq in Central Badia to provide 600 jobs in embroidery.
The first memo stipulates offering employment and training to 250 residents of Salhiyeh and Nayfeh in a 3,000-square-metre factory for which the municipality will provide a plot of land.
Under the second memo, 350 workers will be trained and employed in a production branch in Azraq with the ministry covering transportation costs during the 24-month training period.
