Women in Aqaba, Southern badia to receive vocational training

AMMAN — The National Company for Employment and Training (NCET) and the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding to train women in Aqaba and the Southern badia in vocational fields, especially embroidery. NCET Director General Brig. Gen. Mohammad Jazi said the memo will enable the company to immediately start training youths in the Southern badia and to empower women and enhance their role in society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Friday.
JOHUD Deputy Executive Director Reem Zaben said the agreement reflects the fund’s keenness to realise its goal of providing jobs for women and youths.
