Evacuation of 304 people from Amman, Petra hotels begins

AMMAN — The evacuation of 304 quarantined people in Amman and Petra hotels began on Sunday, with 291 people expected to be evacuated from the Regency Palace Hotel, 10 from the Royal Hotel and three from the Mövenpick Petra Hotel after completing the two-week compulsory quarantine, according to the Moral Guidance Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jordanians who tested negative will be sent home via ride-hailing vehicles, while non-Jordanians will be evacuated according to arrangements agreed upon with their respective embassies.
All people leaving quarantine are required to observe an additional 14-day home quarantine as stipulated by government regulations.
