EU announces project to combat human trafficking

AMMAN — The EU mission in Jordan, in cooperation with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), has launched a 2.5-million-euro project to support EU-Jordanian partnership in the transport sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Wednesday.
The EU said the project, to be implemented by the ICMPD over three years, focuses on enhancing the participation of Jordanian expatriates and stopping human trafficking.
