EU ambassador visits German-Jordanian University

AMMAN — EU Ambassador to Jordan Joanna Wronecka on Saturday visited the German-Jordanian University (GJU) to learn about its experience and to boost scientific and academic cooperation.
GJU President Natheer Abu Obeid expressed hope that the visit will pave the way for cooperation between the university and the European Commission.
GJU representatives briefed the ambassador on university programmes and the educational project in support of postgraduate students in Jordan and Syria, which will be sponsored by the EU.
