AMMAN — The Education Ministry on Wednesday announced that education directors across the Kingdom are authorised to declare Thursday a day off, depending on weather conditions in their respective areas.
Ministry Spokesperson Walid Jallad called on education directors to coordinate with school principals and administrative governors to make the right decision that ensures the safety of students and teachers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also called for immediately informing the ministry headquarters of any decision to announce a day off.
