Dams 10.1% full after recent rain — Water Ministry

AMMAN — Since the start of the wet season, the Kingdom has seen 1.394 billion cubic metres, or 17 per cent of the Kingdom's long-term rainfall average of 8.1 billion cubic metres, the Ministry of Water announced on Wednesday.
The ministry said that the Kingdom's dams now hold 10.1 per cent, or 28.3 million cubic metres (mcm), of their total storage capacity of 280.7 mcm after rain over the past 24 hours channelled some 930,000 cubic metres.
