AMMAN — The Consumer Protection Society (CPS) has received several complaints about hikes in prices of some commodities in the market, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Tuesday.
Field inspection tours conducted by the society revealed that some vendors do not clearly indicate product prices, while several shoppers said prices are high. CPS President Mohammad Obeidat said vendors who do not clearly show the price of each commodity tend to sell it at a higher price.
