Conference discusses nuclear cancer treatment

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and King Hussein Cancer Centre, Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Wednesday attended the inauguration ceremony for the first International conference of the Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine.

The three-day conference will focus on the latest developments in nuclear technologies for cancer treatment and diagnosis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Several physicians and nuclear medicine specialists from the US, Germany, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Japan, the UK and North Korea, as well as counterparts from Arab countries are taking part in the event.
